CAT 2015 is approaching. IIM Lucknow is a dream for many. This year does not seem to bring many changes to the campus selection. However, if you are one of those who aspire to be an IIMian and that too in the leading campuses, choosing IIM Lucknow is justified. Let’s discuss the criteria in depth.

  1. The first and foremost requirement is to be able to score the following percentile in CAT 2015.

  1. The candidates which score equal or above will be subjected to the following procedure

The CS Score and its worth

CAT Score or CS will be calculated by dividing the CAT Percentile of the candidate with the highest CAT Percentile in 2015. The CS carries a weightage of 38 for PGP and PGP-SM course. But for PGP-ABM, its weightage is 30. 

 Class 12 score

The marks secured in class 12 will be given 2 marks of weightage by each course.

The Graduation Marks

They carry 3 marks for admission to each course in IIM Lucknow.

 Work Experience

The PGP-ABM has not given any weightage to the work experience. However, the other two courses will give 2 marks each. Internship will not be counted as the part of work experience.

Diversity Factor

The diversity factor in academic discipline will be give a huge weightage in the CAT 2015 by this campus – 13 marks for admission to PGP-AGM and 3 marks for the other two.

  1. Out of the other 50 marks, 40 marks are devoted to PI and 10 to WAT
  2. Other important factors –
  • Internship beyond or equal to two years have the similar worth of two marks
  • Females and non-engineers will be given extra marks for diversity
