 IIM Ahemdabad Admission Criteria

In the previous part of IIM Ahmedabad admission criteria, we largely talked about the eligibility. However, today we would like to go more thorough about the sub-selection procedures. Once the candidate has obtained the desired CAT score, their total marks will be based on the following –

 

  1. To start with, AR or Application Rating is A+B+C Where A, B, C are the tenth, twelfth and graduation marks. Read the tables below –

  1. Then a specific number of top candidates from the composite score (AR+CAT) will be further selected for the Personal Interview (PI) and Academic Writing Test (AWT).

 

  1. The final list will be prepared on the basis of all three levels that are – CAT score, AR, and PI+AWT.

 

Based on the subject being opted for graduation, you may choose to do the relevant course from the below alternatives –

 

  1. Agriculture [Agronomy, Soil Science, Agricultural Biochemistry, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Extension, Plant Breeding and Genetics, Entomology, Plant Pathology etc.]

 

  1. Animal Husbandry

 

  1. Dairy Science/Technology

  1. Forestry

 

  1. Food Technology

 

  1. Horticulture
