Jbims admission more difficult

MBA MAH CET

Getting into JBIMS become more difficult for mumbai students for CET 2016 takers.

Till last year JBIMS and every other mumbai college through DTE enjoyed 70% seats reserved for home university ie mumbai university but changing the rules this year they have combined seats of ohu and hu for jbims. Other colleges follow same old rules. Last year seat distribution: Mumbai home university 38 open seats Outside home university 09 open seats Ie pune nashik nagpur aurangabad all combined 09 seats only in each of the mumbai colleges offering MMS. This year distribution Mumbai and Outside home university combined 38 + 09 = 47 seats. Which is huge benefit for maharashtra based non mumbai students but not a good news for mumbai students. However OMS outside mumbai students are not affected anyways with 18 seats fixed. This was implemented last year at jbims successfully combining ohu and hu seats. This rule is also applied to obc sc st seats as well for jbims. Last year seat distribution: Mumbai home university 16 obc seats Outside home university 03 obc seats This year combined 19 obc seats. Last minute changes should not be done but DTE is famous for changing rules and mending ways without prior notice. So students expecting admission this year you should see state rank not university rank for admission.jbims-main
