Hello Aspirants, The first day of the SBI Clerk 2016 got underway on May 22. The overall paper across slots did not have too much of a variation in pattern or difficulty level. The exam level could be termed easy. And also same exam pattern according us which we are expected and also post in previous articles. The analysis given below is just an overview of the exam held on 22nd May and not an indicator of patter for the remaining slots where mild variations could be there. Most of the questions were from Simplification and Number Series. The break-down of questions is as follows:- 1) Number Series – 5Q 2) Simplification & Approximation  -10Q 3) DI (Tables) – 5 Q 4) Arithmetic (TSD, Time & work, Interest, Ratios, Percentage, Profit & Loss etc) – 15 Q Reasoning: This section was easy. The only surprise was the exclusion of Syllogism questions but that should not have put any of the candidates off as the overall paper was easy with very few tricky questions. 1) Analytical Reasoning (Arrangements + Puzzles) – 15Q 2) Inequalities – 5Q 3) Alphanumeric Series – 5Q 4) Coding -Decoding – 3Q 5) Miscellaneous (Blood Relation, Directions Sense etc) – 6-7Q English Language: This section was also easy with very straightforward CLoze Test. Both the Reading Comprehension passage and the Cloze Test passage were based on fictional stories than on economy or Banking related topics.
