The CET Cell has clarified that MBA/MMS CET results are declared in percentile, not percentage.
Percentage means the marks scored out of total marks. Percentile shows how a candidate has performed compared to all other candidates who appeared for the exam. So, percentile is more important for admission and ranking purposes.
For example, a 99 percentile does not mean 99% marks. It means the candidate has performed better than approximately 99% of the test-takers.
The CET Cell has stated that percentile scores have been calculated through a standardized process. Candidates are advised to check their percentile carefully and use it for admission-related planning.
What Next After MBA CET Result?
After the result declaration, students should download and save their scorecard. The next major step will be the CAP Round process, where students will register for counselling, fill college preferences, verify documents, and participate in seat allotment rounds.
MBA/MMS CET 2026 scores will be used for admission to top MBA and MMS colleges in Maharashtra, including institutes in Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, Amravati, and other cities.
Students should now focus on CAP registration, document preparation, category certificate validity, college preference list, and expected cutoffs. Source: TimesofIndia
