Structure and Pattern of XAT
XAT 2020 Exam Pattern
XAT 2021 Strategy Sheet: http://ckedu.in/Default.aspx?id=16d41760-a1b6-4f7d-a993-a57f8c9b465b
XAT exam pattern
Pattern states that it has objective (multiple choice questions) questions. The exam has four sections – Decision Making, Verbal and Logical Ability, Data Interpretation and Quantitative Ability (DI & QA), and General Knowledge. The XAT 2019 exam pattern had undergone some major changes. The duration was reduced from 3.5 hours to 3 hours, and the essay writing section has been cancelled in last year. It is expected these changes would be applicable for XAT 2020 exam pattern as well.
The number of question in each section keeps changing every year. Each question carries one mark. So, for every correct answer, one mark will be awarded and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer. Unattended questions beyond eight will also result in negative marking of 0.05 marks per question.
The duration of XAT 2020 will be 3 hours (180 minutes).
