1. Quant Ability 50 marks – Quant
I doubt there will be any major change in this section… Cet always considered DI DS to be part of quant. Quant will be as usual 20 questions dominated by geometry and Arithmetic with very few (3 last year) above average questions. Easy to manage section.. cat snap takers should not hav any problem sailing through..
2. Quant Ability 50 marks – DI is part of quant section
As expected 4 sets will be there. Very easy to understand but high on calculations. little calculation intensive.. try all different types of questions in DI. You can expect Web charts and triangular charts as well.
3. Quant Ability 50 marks – Data Sufficiency
DS is always integral part of CET with 10 questions on DS all managable but time taking. 5 of them would be based on logic and 5 on quant.
4. Verbal Ability 50 marks – Verbal section
50 marks of verbal is something which is consistent from last 10 years. In verbal they will ask a bit of everything. Do expect Rc squat 5 questions, normal 5 rc.. 2 sets with 4 medium n 6 easy questions. Cloze passages 10 ques two sets, grammar 5, Vocab usage 5 and fill in the blanks 5. Parajumbles 5 questions.. finding starting of sentence 5 and main idea 5 ques.
5. Logical Ability 75 marks – Traditional Logic section
35 questions in LR might shock a few but its same for almost 10 years. Little bit on higher side in understanding.. with more questions on lengthy side. Expect every chapter of cetking blue books – coding decoding, symbols, direction sense, input output, everything for 5 marks each.
6. Logical Ability 75 marks – Sitting arrangement based questions.
Expect 29-30 questions on sitting arrangements and matrix based puzzles in MBA CET. Out of 29 questions last year 15 were veey easy and 14 questions were of medium level..
7. Logical Ability 75 marks – Modern logic questions
Expect 10 questions on modern logic questions like parallel reasoning, syllogisms with possibility cases, ISAC type questions. All these topic workshops are available in cetking online program.
8. Abstract reasoning – 25 marks… Visual 20 questions
Expect 20 questions of diagrams and figures exactly based on shortcut workshops on visual reasoning all strategies were working on the questions. Prephrase, g strategy, options, pen and pairs. Use sketch pen / marker to speep up ur game.
9. Abstract reasoning – 25 marks…Verbal reasoning.. 5 ques
Courses of actions, cause and effect and strong weak argument are always seen in CET paper.
10. Cet is all about strategy – speed and accuracy.
200 questions is not easy to manage as fatigue sets in after first 100 questions. Cetking recommends going through all 10 mock strategies workshops given in ur cetking dashboard..
Note this breakup is based on my 7 years of experience of giving Cet every year.. however there is no fixed pattern of CET paper anything can come in exam as seen in 2015 MBA Cet paper.
