SPJIMR's January 2027 Global Management Programme (GMP) has opened an additional Final Phase of applications. The institute's official admissions page lists the window from 6 November 2026 through 27 November 2026.
WHAT CHANGED
The previous Phase II application period ran from 16 September to 5 November 2026. The current dedicated GMP admissions page adds a third, Final Phase beginning on 6 November and closing on 27 November. This is a newly effective admission opportunity, not merely a reminder about an existing deadline.
WHO CAN APPLY AND WHAT IS THE PROGRAMME?
The Global Management Programme is an on-campus international pathway, distinct from SPJIMR's two-year PGDM and PGDM (BM). Participants study for six months at SPJIMR Mumbai and then complete six to eighteen months at a partner business school abroad, depending on their MBA or MS pathway. Students may become alumni of SPJIMR and their partner school.
Applicants generally need a bachelor's degree with at least 55% marks and a valid score from an accepted test such as GMAT, CAT, GRE, XAT or NMAT, subject to the current intake and selected international school's requirements. Both fresh graduates and professionals may be eligible.
ADMISSION TIMELINE: JANUARY 2027 COHORT
Phase I: 5 August to 15 September 2026 (closed). Phase II: 16 September to 5 November 2026 (closed). Final Phase: 6 November to 27 November 2026 (now open, according to SPJIMR's dedicated admissions page).
WHAT STUDENTS SHOULD DO
Read the current January 2027 GMP admissions page on the official SPJIMR website, check the selected international partner's degree and score requirements, and confirm the current application portal before completing the form and payment. Do not confuse this admissions window with the separate PGDM and PGDM (BM) 2027–29 admissions process.
SOURCE CLARIFICATION
The current dedicated GMP admissions page now displays the Final Phase. An older SPJIMR programme admissions subpage still shows only the previous two phases ending 5 November. The current dedicated admissions page is the basis of this update. The precise date when that page was edited is not printed, so this report confirms the Final Phase is effective from 6 November; it does not claim that SPJIMR issued a separately dated press release.
