The XAT 2027 website lists 28 October, today, as the last date to register if candidates want to take the official mock test. Two mock sessions are scheduled, on 31 October and 1 November.

Registration for the exam itself, which opened in July, stays open until 6 December 2026. The admit card is tentatively due on 20 December. XAT 2027 will be held on 3 January 2027 from 2 pm to 5 pm.
The page also carries a few notices. The application edit window ran on 16 and 17 October, and the email ID and mobile number cannot be changed once a candidate registers. Applicants are warned about fake admission offers, with a reminder that XLRI admissions are merit based and involve no management or NRI quota. The General Knowledge section has no negative marking and does not count toward percentile or cutoff, though it is considered for XLRI programmes.
New associate institutes have also been announced, including Accman Institute of Management, Arun Jaitley National Institute of Financial Management and Mahindra University, while Xavier Institute of Management and Informatics, Jaipur has joined as a new member institute of the XAMI group.
What to do now: - Register today if you want a slot in the official mock test. - Verify your email ID and mobile number before submitting, as they cannot be edited later. - Mark 6 December for registration and 3 January for the exam.
