CAT 2026 Official Mock Test Link Is Now Active
IIM Indore's CAT 2026 official practice mock test link was reported active on Friday, 6 November 2026. Jagran Josh confirmed activation at 12:48 PM IST. The Times of India independently reported the active mock link at 1:40 PM IST, after the earlier admit-card update.
What changed today?
On 4 November, IIM Indore had announced that the official mock would become available on 6 November, without confirming that it was already live. Today's reports specifically confirm activation of the mock test link. This is a separate development from the admit-card download link becoming active earlier on 6 November.
What is in the CAT 2026 official mock?
The sample test uses selected questions from previous CAT papers. It familiarises students with the computer-based interface, answer selection, question navigation, and MCQ/non-MCQ question styles. Reports citing the exam notification describe a 120-minute mock for non-PwBD candidates, using three sections of 40 minutes each. Eligible PwBD candidates are described as receiving 40 additional minutes.
Important: The mock test is illustrative. IIM Indore has cautioned that its number and type of questions, sectional sequence and timings are not a guaranteed disclosure of the CAT 2026 examination pattern. Do not predict the actual paper from this mock.
How to access the CAT 2026 official mock
Step 1. Go to the official CAT website: iimcat.ac.in.
Step 2. Find the CAT 2026 Mock Test option on the official website. Use the appropriate accessibility version if required.
Step 3. Read the instructions, enter credentials if the page requests them, and attempt the interface-familiarisation test.
Step 4. Practise navigation and managing time. Continue your preparation using full mocks separately.
What students should know
CAT 2026 is scheduled for Sunday, 29 November 2026, in three sessions. Admit-card downloads were separately reported active earlier today. Verify your allotted exam slot and centre from your own admit card rather than from the mock.
Verification note
Two independently published education reports dated 6 November 2026 confirmed mock-link activation. The official CAT portal and the linked TCS iON notification/test pages returned HTTP 403 to automated checks, so Cetking has not independently entered or completed the official mock. Use only the official CAT website to locate it.
