NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has opened online applications for its two-year MBA (International Business) and MBA (Business Analytics) programmes for the 2027–29 batch. The last date to submit the online form and pay the application fee is 25 November 2026 — four days before CAT 2026 on 29 November.
Both programmes shortlist on the CAT 2026 score together with other parameters defined by the institute, followed by a Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The IIMs play no role in IIFT admissions, so a CAT registration by itself does not count as an application to IIFT; candidates must apply separately on iift.ac.in using their CAT registration number.
MBA (IB) is offered at all four campuses — Delhi and Kolkata (240 seats each), Kakinada and GIFT City (120 seats each). MBA (BA) is offered at Delhi only, with 60 seats.
The application fee is Rs 3,000 for MBA (IB) and Rs 2,000 for MBA (BA) for General, OBC-NCL and EWS candidates; SC, ST, PwD and transgender candidates pay Rs 1,500 and Rs 1,000 respectively. The fee is non-refundable.
For MBA (IB), candidates need a bachelor's degree of at least three years with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD); CA, CS, ICWA and FIAI holders are also eligible. MBA (BA) requires either a B.Tech/B.E. with 50% or 5.0 CGPA, or a bachelor's degree with 50% plus Mathematics or Statistics at graduation or Mathematics at 10+2 (Applied Mathematics is not accepted). Final-year students may apply if they submit proof of qualification by 31 October 2027. There is no age limit.
The prospectus lists the total programme fee for the 2026–28 batch as Rs 19.73 lakh for MBA (IB) and Rs 17.93 lakh for MBA (BA); the 2027–29 fee will be communicated with offer letters. Hostel and mess are charged separately. SC, ST and PwD students get a 50% concession on tuition.
GD/PI centres listed for this cycle are Delhi, Kolkata, Kakinada, GIFT City, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Indore, Lucknow and Mumbai; the institute may change centres or move the process online.
