IIM Ahmedabad is accepting applications for the 2027–29 batch of its Blended MBA in Business Analytics and AI (MBA-BPGP: BA & AI), according to the institute's programme admissions page and a homepage announcement dated 15 October 2026.
The programme is meant for working professionals and entrepreneurs. Applicants need a bachelor's degree with at least 50 per cent marks, plus three years of full-time experience after a three-year degree or two years after a four-year degree, counted as of 31 March 2027.
Candidates can apply with a valid CAT, GMAT (Classic or Focus) or GRE score taken on or after 1 January 2022. Those without one can sit the institute's own 90-minute online test covering quantitative aptitude, analytical reasoning and verbal aptitude. The Round 1 test is on 22 November 2026 and the Round 2 test on 10 January 2027.
Round 1 applications and fee are due on 2 November 2026, with final selection on 21 December. Round 2 opens on 3 November and closes on 20 December, with final selection on 10 February 2027. The application fee is ₹2,000 for CAT, GMAT or GRE scores and ₹5,000 for the institute's own test. The total programme fee is ₹21,00,000, payable in instalments starting with a non-refundable ₹1,00,000 commitment fee.
Selection is by test score shortlisting followed by interviews with faculty panels. The page's FAQ section lists a different Round 1 date of 22 November, so applicants should confirm the closing date on the official page.
What to do now: - If you hold a CAT score from 2022 onwards, check whether it can be used instead of the institute's test. - Keep work-experience proof ready; experience is counted up to 31 March 2027. - Confirm the Round 1 closing date on the official page before paying the fee.
