IIM Kozhikode opens 2027–29 international PGP admissions; first round until 14 December

IIM Kozhikode’s international application window starts 30 October for its full-time PGP, PGP-Finance and PGP-LSM programmes. It is restricted to foreign-passport holders; Cycle 1 runs until 14 December 2026.

IIM Kozhikode's international admission window for its 2027–29 postgraduate intake begins on 30 October 2026. The institute's official schedule lists Cycle 1 from 30 October to 14 December 2026 and Cycle 2 from 21 December 2026 to 15 March 2027. An official international applicant registration form is accessible.

The route covers the institute's two-year, full-time Post Graduate Programme (PGP), PGP in Finance and PGP in Liberal Studies and Management. It is for holders of non-Indian passports, including foreign nationals residing in India; Indian citizens should follow the domestic admission process instead.

Eligible applicants need a bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. The institute accepts qualifying GMAT or GRE results from the preceding three years. Foreign nationals living in India may also use CAT 2026 with at least an 80th percentile score, according to its official eligibility page. The published minimum GMAT scores are 560 for the classic test and 535 for the Focus edition; applicants should check the official GRE and English-proficiency conditions carefully.

The application fee is ₹850, waived for applicants registered on India's Study in India portal. Eligible candidates face a virtual interview, and successful applicants must meet the institute's offer-acceptance payment conditions.

What students should do: First confirm that you qualify for the foreign-passport admission route. Review the three programme options and score requirements on IIM Kozhikode's official pages, register using the international applicant form, and keep valid test scores, academic documents and any required Study in India registration ID ready. The first cycle closes on 14 December 2026.

Why it matters: The start of the first application cycle opens a distinct route to full-time management programmes for international applicants. This is an application-window opening, not a change to domestic CAT admissions. The date of the original online announcement is not stated; the university's admissions schedule was last updated on 28 October and its eligibility page on 29 October.
