Verbal in MBA CET 2026 Attempt 2 Slot 2

The VARC section was easy to moderate and largely scoring for students with strong vocabulary and reading speed. Reading Comprehension formed the core of the section with four passages carrying 5 questions each. The Quantitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation section was easy to moderate but heavily calculation-oriented, making speed and accuracy extremely important. Arithmetic remained the dominant area, with questions distributed across multiple familiar topics rather than concentrating on one chapter. Students comfortable with approximation techniques and quick calculations had a clear advantage. Time & Work, Simple Equations, Ratio, and Time-Speed-Distance contributed several questions, while areas like Mensuration and BODMAS had very limited representation. Two table-based DI sets together formed 10 questions and were considered easy, involving straightforward calculations. Overall, the section was manageable conceptually, but lengthy computations made time management a key challenge for most students.

Logical Reasoning was easy to moderate and significantly more manageable compared to other slots because it contained almost no traditional puzzle sets. The section was dominated by singlet questions, allowing students to maintain a steady solving pace without spending excessive time on lengthy arrangements. Number Series formed the largest chunk of the section, followed by topics like Set Theory, Blood Relations, Coding-Decoding, Direction Sense, and Odd One Out. Abstract Reasoning was one of the easiest and most scoring sections of the paper. The questions were based on familiar CET visual reasoning patterns, allowing students to solve them quickly with proper observation skills. Unlike some previous slots, there were no figure-counting questions, which reduced complexity and saved time. Odd One Out questions dominated the section, followed by figure-based series questions. A few miscellaneous visual logic questions, along with Water Image and Dice-based problems, were also included. Most students found the section straightforward and less time-consuming compared to Quant and LR. Overall, Abstract Reasoning provided an excellent scoring opportunity for candidates with strong visual pattern recognition.
