The Quantitative Aptitude section consisted of 50 questions and was considered moderate overall. While the concepts were mostly straightforward, the section became challenging because of lengthy calculations and time pressure. Arithmetic continued to dominate the paper, following the usual MBA CET trend. Students found the paper balanced — not extremely easy, but not highly difficult either. Two Data Interpretation sets, one based on a table and another on a pie chart, contributed around 10 questions. Topics like Geometry, Probability, and Shares & Investment were slightly tougher, whereas Time & Work and Simple Interest were easier. Speed, calculation accuracy, and smart question selection were crucial for maximizing attempts and score.

Logical Reasoning MBA CET 2026 Second Attempt May Slot 1
Logical Reasoning emerged as the most crucial and time-consuming section of the paper. Unlike Attempt 1 Slot 1, this slot featured a heavy presence of puzzles, with nearly 30–32 puzzle-based questions, making time management extremely challenging for students. While many standard LR topics were conceptually easy to moderate, the sheer volume of puzzles slowed down attempts. Syllogisms, Coding-Decoding, Direction Sense, Ranking, and Analogy questions were relatively easy and scoring. Topics like Odd One Out, Number Series, Assertion & Reasoning, and Blood Relations required more careful thinking. Interestingly, only one Ranking question appeared, which was significantly lower compared to earlier slots, indicating a noticeable shift in the Logical Reasoning pattern.
| Topic | No. of Questions |
|---|---|
| Syllogisms | 5 |
| Odd One Out | 7 |
| Number Series | 7 |
| Coding-Decoding | 3 |
| Assertion & Reasoning | 5 |
| Direction Sense | 6 |
| Blood Relations | 5 |
| Ranking | 1 |
| Analogy | 1 |

Abstract MBA CET 2026 Second Attempt May Slot 1
Abstract Reasoning consisted of 25 questions and was generally considered easy and scoring. However, many students found the section more time-consuming than expected because of lengthy observation and image interpretation. Figure-based series questions dominated the paper with 16 questions, making pattern recognition skills extremely important. Counting Figures and Venn Diagram-based visual questions also appeared regularly, while Odd One Out questions were limited. Some candidates reported that a few images were unclear, which increased the time required to solve them accurately. One question was also said to be repeated from Attempt 1 Slot 1. Overall, the section was manageable, but poor time allocation here negatively affected performance in Quantitative Aptitude for several students.
| Topic | No. of Questions |
|---|---|
| Series (Figure-based) | 16 |
| Counting Figures | 4 |
| Venn Diagram (Figure-based) | 3 |
| Odd One Out | 2 |
